How to connect your sofa to Bluetooth

Having trouble connecting your sofa’s Bluetooth speakers to your phone, tablet or TV? There are a few things you can check that may help get you connected.

First, make sure your sofa is switched on and receiving power. Check that the power cable is securely connected to the back of the recliner and plugged into the wall socket.

Next, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone, tablet or TV and search for available devices. Your sofa’s Bluetooth speaker can only connect to one device at a time, so make sure another device isn’t already connected. Disconnect or unpair any existing connection before searching again.

Still having trouble? Try connecting the sofa to a mobile phone or tablet. This is a quick way to check whether the sofa’s Bluetooth connection is working. Once connected, try playing some audio through the sofa.

When connecting to a TV, your TV needs to support Bluetooth Audio. You can usually check this using your TV’s model number, which can be found under Settings → Support → About This TV. You can then search online using the model number and Bluetooth Audio compatible to check whether your TV supports the required connection.

If your TV supports Bluetooth Audio and the sofa is connected but you can’t hear any sound, check your TV’s Sound or Audio settings and make sure the sofa’s Bluetooth speaker is selected as the sound output.
